When I'm not working (and sometimes when I should be working), I am likely to be writing, reading, editing, and teaching for the pleasure of it, and to satisfy my own curiosity and interests. The fact that I'm simultaneously helping organizations in my community to achieve their goals and improve the quality of life for others is a bonus.
